1. What should I pay attention to for the best capture?

The patient should stay still and smile by showing only their teeth. They should avoid facial expressions, talking, and head movements. Lighting should come from behind the person or the environment should be well-lit.

2. What should I do if my patient moved during the capture?

Check the preview images before generating the model. If there is head movement or facial expression changes, a new capture is recommended.

3. Is the application paid to use?

No. The application is free, but each capture consumes a credit. Credits can be purchased within the app.

4. Do I lose my credit completely in case of faulty captures?

No. The system automatically refunds 50% of the credit for faulty captures.

5. In which cases is a capture considered faulty?

Faulty captures include head movement, facial expression changes, insufficient or excessive lighting, facial shadows, or teeth not being visible.

6. When is the credit used?

Credit is activated when you press the "Generate Model" button. Therefore, you should check the preview first.

7. How long does it take to generate the 3D model?

The model is usually ready within 3-5 minutes. This duration may vary depending on your internet speed.

8. Is internet connection required during the capture?

No, internet is not required during the capture. However, internet is needed to generate the model.

9. Can I capture multiple patients consecutively?

Yes, you can start a new capture session for each patient. Each capture requires a separate credit.

10. Can the model be edited after creation?

Yes, the created model can be edited with the desktop application 3D Smile Designer.
